S.O.S.

When we moved into our house, it needed a lot of cleaning. One thing that needed extra TLC was the bathroom – specifically the tub. I scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed. I listened to my friends and read blogs about the “best cleaning solution” ever and I tried it all.

Nothing worked – so I got desperate.

*I can’t believe I’m about to tell you this. Please don’t judge me.*

I was so desperate that I used an SOS pad on my tub! Yes, you read that correctly – an SOS pad on my tub. I figured that it cleaned my pots and pans beautifully so…Did I mention that I was desperate?

Needless to say, I was at the end of my rope. I needed a clean tub. I was tired of scrubbing every.single.day with no results. I was ready to try anything and needed a miracle.

Enter SOS pad.

Have you ever had an SOS moment with your life?

SOS

A time when you were at the end of your rope, crying out to God? I have had lots of those moments. As I was scrubbing my tub this morning, remembering the SOS moment {and giggling a little at the absurdity of it all}, I took a few minutes to thank God. You see, God is always ready to help – even when I’ve messed up by not trusting him in the first place. He is forever faithful and incredibly patient. His love is extreme and overflowing. He was there with me through all my SOS moments. Waiting for me to relinquish control and grab his hand.

What do you need to give to God today?

Keepin’ it Real…D

  1. I like the whole S.O.S. moment analogy. Makes me think.
